   We found a copy of this wonderful local paper while staying in Garden City last month. My family has vacationed in the Murrells Inlet, Garden city area for 50 years this year and the area seems more like a second home now. My mother and father fished many hours in the inlet and met and became good friends back in the sixties with many of the local families. We really enjoyed the article about the Bay Harbor Hotel, and recalling Sam Barwick,the bait shop and the marina. I have ordered the book “Murrells Inlet: Memories, Memiors and Miracles ” and cant wait to catch up on more MI history.
